Workshop Guide

This guide will help you navigate through a workshop and make the most out of it.

Once you have enrolled in a workshop, you can start by clicking the Start Workshop button on the workshop landing page. This will take you to the first chapter of the workshop.

As denoted in the image above, the chapter lesson is available in the left, and workshop progress and chapter navigation is available in the right.

Chapter navigation

Chapter navigation is available in the right sidebar. You can use it to navigate through the chapters and lessons.

The chapters you have completed are denoted with a checkmark. You can jump to a chapter by clicking on the chapter title.

Chapter Lesson

The lesson is text-based content that covers the key concepts and theories of the chapter. It can help with the understanding of the chapter and the exercise.

Chapter Exercise

Let’ select a chapter with an exercise. You will notice an additional tab on the left section:

Select the Exercise tab to access the exercise details.

There are three sections in the exercise tab:

• Exercise Lab Section: This section allows you to spawn the exercise lab container.
• Exercise Information: This section contains the task for the exercise.
• Exercise Solution: This section contains the step-by-step solution for the exercise.

You can click on the Spawn Exercise Lab to spawn the lab container. When you spawn a lab container, you will be provided with a remote address.

The remote address can be an HTTP link, TCP connection address, or hostname.

Even if you switch to a different chapter, the lab container will still be active. You will be able to access it from the sidebar:

Solvables

Solvables are Q&A pairs that you must complete to complete the chapter. They are available below the lesson and exercise sections.

There can be multiple solvables in a chapter. Sometimes they can be a question related to the lesson, and sometimes they can be a flag from the exercise.

Now it’s time to upskill yourself by going through the lessons and completing the exercises!

Once you have completed 100% of the chapters, you will be able to claim your certificate of completion if available.
